4 of the Best Quick-and-Easy Halloween Makeup Ideas

It’s officially the best time of the year — spooky season.
Time to carve pumpkins, binge scary movies, and eat candy ‘til you’re sick.
But sometimes you get so caught up in all of the fall fun, you forget to brainstorm Halloween costumes. And all of a sudden it’s the 31st and you’re frantically driving around town hitting every costume store, just to find they’re completely sold out.
When you’re in a pinch, makeup is there to save you. Even if you wait until the last minute, you can still look like you spent weeks planning out the perfect look. And the best part is, at M2U NYC it won’t cost you a fortune.
So here are some quick and easy Halloween makeup looks that’ll blow everyone away.
1. 1920s Flapper Makeup

If you’re planning to dress up as a 1920s party-goer this Halloween, you would need dark red lips and the biggest eyelashes in town.
Put these in your cart:
● Eyeshadow Duo ($7) — in shade "Greenpoint"
● Eye Crayon ($6) in the shade “Copper Storm”
● Matte Liquid Lip ($8) in “Blood”
● Cream Blush ($9) in “Hot”
● False Eyelashes ($6) in the style “TSQ Girl”
Starting with the eyes, go in with the Eye Crayon as an eyeliner and create a dramatic wing — these crayons are super creamy, so this step won’t take long. Then pack on the Eyeshadow Duo all over your lid. To finish it off, use the Eye Crayon along your waterline and in your inner corner to create some depth.
Next, apply the False Eyelashes to add the flashiness that’s drawn right from this decade.
Go heavy on the Cream Blush and apply to your cheekbones and the tip of your nose, getting it as red as you can. A little tip: if you use your fingers, you’ll get a richer color. And if you’re looking to save some money, you can use this multi-stick on your lips, too.
To complete the total roaring '20s feels, use the Matte Liquid Lip to add a more intense red lip look.
With this makeup look, you will feel like being teleported back to the 1920s instantly.
2. Goddess

Now if you’re gonna go for the goddess look, you’ve gotta have everything glittery and gold.
So here’s what you’ll need:
● “Champagne” shimmer from the Eyeshadow Duo ($7) in shade "Crown Heights"
● Luminizer ($7) in the shade “Futurity”
● Uptown Downtown eyeshadow palette ($12)
● Lip Gloss ($8) in the shade “Lucky”
The goddess makeup is all about getting a deep, dramatic eyeshadow look. So you’re gonna start with the palette.
Using the all-over shadow brush from the Eyeshadow Brush Set, apply “Milk” all over the lid, “Latte” in the crease, and “Espresso” in the outer corners. Make sure you’re packing it on — you want the colors as bold as you can get them. Then go in with “Taxi” in the center of your eyelid for a pop of shimmer — against those three matte shades, the gold will really stand out. To add some dimension, take the smudge brush and sweep “Espresso” along your waterline.
After that, take “Champagne” shimmer from the Eyeshadow Duo and apply it all around your eyes. This will take your shadow look up a notch and create a luxe n’ lavish vibe overall.
With the Luminzier, add some glow to your cheekbones, brow bones, nose, and cupid’s bow. And don’t be shy with the application. When it comes to Halloween, nothing is ever too much.
To finish it all off, swipe “Lucky” on your lips. This shimmery gold gloss will bring the whole goddess look together with ease.
With your head held high and dripping in gold, you’ll reign supreme this Halloween.
3. Witch

To all my witches out there — it’s finally your time to shine.
For this look, grab these:
● Concrete Jungle Eyeshadow palette ($12)
● Metallic Liquid Lip ($8) in “Gun Metal”
● Eye Crayon ($6) in “Greenwich V”
Now, this is gonna be somewhat similar to the goddess look, but instead of gold, we’re going green.
Using the palette, apply “Lemonade” all over your lid, “Peppermint Confetti” into your crease, and pack “Jungle” into your outer corner. Carry “Jungle” underneath your eyes, too, and blend it out to create a smokey look.
Once those shades are blended, apply the Eye Crayon to your inner corners and the center of your lid. Then, using the crayon as a highlighter, apply green shimmer to your cheekbones, nose, and cupids bow. This will take the spooky, witchy vibe to the next level.
To add some contrast and a ton of drama, use the Gun Metal Metallic Liquid Lip — this mix of green and black is a classic witch-trick and is sure to add some shock factor to your whole look.
After that, all you’ll have to do is put a spell on someone, and they’ll be yours.
4. Fairy

To those looking for a sweet, simple look — the fairy is for you.
What to get:
● Eyeshadow Duo ($7) in shade “Park Slope”
● Hydrating Liquid Blush ($10) in the shade “Cotton Candy”
● Jelly Highlighter ($11)
● Holographic Lip Gloss ($8)
As always, the eyes are up first. For this look, all you have to do is apply the Eyeshadow Duo all over your lid to create a stunning, magical glimmer to last the whole night.
For the perfect soft glow, apply the Hydrating Liquid Blush to your cheeks and nose. Try to keep the color as vibrant as possible by blending out with your fingers. Then, go over the cheekbones, nose, and brow bones with the Jelly Highlighter to add some enchanting shine — these two products are extraordinary when used together.
To top it all off, use the Holographic Lip Gloss for a color-shifting, 3D touch. This gloss is sure to dazzle on its own, but you can pair it with the “Milk Tea” Moisturizing Lipstick for a full lip-plumping effect.
You’ll be sure to win hearts with this pink, dreamy fairy look.
No matter which look you go with, don't forget to use our water-resistant Eye Primer ($8) and Mascara ($10), for long-lasting eye looks that don’t cake, crease or run!
