Our Support for BLM

We will not stay silent.

As a non-black, POC-owned business, we will never know what it’s like to be black in America.

But we will always stand in solidarity with the black community.

We will always stand against police brutality, systemic racism, and racial injustice.

As a small start-up company, we have little resources. But we’re here to help in any way that we can. M2U NYC is taking up arms both internally and externally.

Currently, our team solely consists of the founders and one part-time employee. But as M2U NYC continues to bloom and grow, we’re committed to creating an inclusive, diverse workplace with an equal pay scale.

Our business works with black artists and business owners, and we will continue to do so. Black is beautiful, and we intend to celebrate it.

We'd donated 100% of our proceeds from Juneteenth (06/19) this year to the NAACP Legal Defense Fund, a non-profit organization with a long history of fighting racial injustice through public education, legal action, and advocacy. We will continue to do so every year.

The NAACP Legal Defense Fund is also a great resource for us and others to continue learning. Their research reports, blogs, and flyers are available to everyone. We understand that education has a crucial role in the fight for racial equality.

The Black Lives Matter movement is far from over. As our business expands, so will our efforts towards change.

We are continuing the conversation and will continue to support however we can. And we are currently working on ways to support black organizations year-round. We want to ensure our country keeps moving towards reformation.

Black women, men, and children matter.

Black trans lives matter.

Black futures matter.

Black lives matter.
