What does the name M2U NYC mean?
M2U = [M(AKEUP) + 2 + (YO)U]. We are the new (makeup) kid on the block. Our company is located in downtown NYC (come say hi if you are nearby!) and it’s energy, beauty and diversity is our biggest source of inspiration!
What makes your products different than others?
Makeup is our passion… providing high quality and stylish makeup at an affordable price is our purpose.
M2U NYC was born to bring Quality, Style, and Value together, for all cosmetic lovers who recognize that quality and trendy makeup should not cost them a fortune. We are able to offer high quality trendy makeups with prices that are consistently 60% to 80% less than typical makeup brands, because we source directly from manufacturers to consumers, and don't use middlemen, celebrity marketing, nor traditional ads. Do you test on animals?
Never! We do not test our products or ingredients on animals. We’re committed to being 100% cruelty free, meaning we do not test on animals at any stage of product development, and we will only work with vendors who uphold the same standards.
Do you use parabens in your products?
No way! We don’t formulate with parabens because they are under debate for their safety and found in many cosmetic products. We formulates with a combination of tried and true safe ingredients.
Are your products vegan?
Yes. Our line is 100% vegan. We are certified by PETA as a Vegan and Cruelty-Free brand.
Are your products gluten free?
Yes all our products are gluten free. There are no gluten nor glunten byproduct in our ingredients.
Is your packaging sustainable and/or recyclable?
Environmental sustainability is super important to us and we are constantly looking for ways to ensure our packaging results in improved sustainability and waste reduction. For example, we eliminate secondary package for all our products so there will be less material going into trash. Our supply chain also has minimum layer of packaging and only use reusable or/and recyclable materials. Also, we produce in small batches so we don’t end up destroying large amount of excess inventories like most big makeup companies do. We recommend cleaning our package and recycle them after complete the usage, but please check with your local department of public works or recycling program as what’s recyclable in one community could be trash in another.
How much is shipping? Do you offer free shipping?
We current offer free standard ground shipping for orders of $30 or more within the continental U.S. For orders under $30, there is a flat rate standard shipping fee of $4.99. We also offer expedited shipping for an additional fee if you just can’t wait (and who can blame you?!). All shipping options are listed in our shipping page here, and will also be listed on your checkout page before you place order.
Do you ship internationally?
Not yet, but hopefully soon! Drop us a line and let us know which country we should go next!
What is your returns policy?
Quality is our #1 priority. All our products are vegan, paraben free, and made with 100% FDA approved ingredients. We take our formula seriously and we stand behind our every product. If you aren't happy with your purchase, contact us at hello@m2unyc.com for a refund less shipping within 90 days. Once we receive your package, your refund will be issued to your original payment method within 7-10 business days. Please note, your original shipping charges are not refunded.
What happens after I place my order?
Orders placed at our website will be processed and shipped within 2 business days. Orders placed after 2pm EST will be processed the following business day. All orders placed on Saturday, Sunday or US National Holidays will be processed the following business day. You can access your order status anytime by signing into your account at our website. Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation email. Please reach out to us at hello@m2unyc.com if you have any other question regarding your order.

What's your response to Covid-19?
At M2U NYC we care deeply about the health and well-being of our team, customers, and the communities we work in. It is our top priority to ensure everyone’s safety while continuing to offer the same high-quality products and service to our customers. We want to ensure you that we are taking all necessary precautions and following CDC and local guidelines, and are monitoring the situation very closely. All our team members are working remotely to ensure the health and safety of each team member and their families. Our distribution partner is fully operational and are shipping orders on time. We are working with them closely to ensure they’re taking necessary safety precautions as well to deliver your orders.
At present, our team and fulfillment partner are working hard to ensure that all orders ship as scheduled. However, there might be some delays with the delivery carrier in certain parts of the country, so please use the tracking number in your order confirmation email to check on the shipping status. We appreciate your patience and understanding, and we thank you for your support during this difficult time.
